Diamant Series Product Launch
The Diamant Series - a collection of contemporary caskets with either 14, 26 or 32 facets, was born from a partnership between Tommerup Kister, an established coffin manufacturer based in Denmark, and Scandinavian design studio Jacob Jensen Design.
Working with the distributer J C Atkinson, I was approached to create a product display for the UK launch of the Diamant Series at The National Funeral Exhibition. In order to highlight the unusual and contemporary form, I digitally mapped the casket and set about creating an animation that could be projected on all sides using multiple projectors.
Using textured blocks of colour, moving lines and generated shadows, the animation was designed to clearly depict and accentuate the many facets of the casket design.
